The Wisc-Online Consortium offers an ever-growing list of high-quality educational teaching materials FREE to educators. This list is kept up-to-date and changes as new materials are added or existing ones are discontinued.

Privacy Statement
Wisc-Online values and takes precautions to protect the personal information you provided to us from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.  Within the Wisc-Online website online information systems, we ask users to provide contact information including your name, educational affiliation, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number. We store your personal information in a secure database that we use to deliver the requested product to you.
Use of Your Personal Information
When you register, we ask if you would like to receive e-mail messages about our new products. We put your name on a mailing list for future product announcements only if you indicate that you want us to do so. If you contact us through our website and request information, we use the contact information you provide only for the stated purpose. Only a limited number of authorized employees have access to the information you provide. We will disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or legal process. Your personal information will be used only for the purposes stated above, will not be shared with third parties other than those described above, and will not be sold to third parties.
Viewing and Correcting Your Personal Information
You may update your personal information at any time by clicking the button labeled My Account on the Wisc-Online website. Your My Wisc-Online page is displayed when you log in.
How We Use Cookie Technology
Wisc-Online products use cookie technology to initiate and maintain your session connections and to compile aggregated statistics about website usage. The cookie stores encrypted information verifying your access to the system. In no case is it used to access personal information, nor is the session information that is maintained in the cookie made available to other organizations.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Wisc-Online Consortium may occasionally revise this Privacy Policy. Changes to the Privacy Policy will appear on this page.
Legal Notice All materials on the Wisc-Online website are copyrighted. Educational programs are provided FREE for use by educators and students of non-profit organizations by linking the materials (via copying and pasting the unique URL for each learning object) to educational webpages. Commercial organizations, including for-profit educational institutions and businesses, may contact Wisc-Online for a licensing agreement.

Introduction

Wisc-Online offers you access to the Wisc-Online Digital Library in exchange for your agreement to accept and comply with these terms, conditions, and notices stated here and as may be modified by Wisc-Online from time to time. Wisc-Online refers to these terms, conditions, and notices, whether modified or unmodified, as the "Agreement" or as the "Terms of Use" or as the "Site Policies."  Wisc-Online reserves the rights to modify in its sole discretion this Agreement without providing notification. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Agreement. By visiting or using any part of the Wisc-Online website, you are agreeing to the terms of use, and you are agreeing that this is a binding contract between Wisc-Online and you.  If you do not wish to be bound by these terms of use, please do not visit or use any part of the Wisc-Online website.

General Use and Limitations of General Use of the Wisc-Online Website
Except where we specify otherwise, Wisc-Online offers you access to the Wisc-Online website solely for your personal and non-commercial uses. You promise that you will not use the Wisc-Online website, in whole or in part, for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use or for any purposes other than those that are personal, non-commercial, and educational. You agree that you will not modify, publish, license, or create derivative works from, or transfer or sell any information, software, lists of users, databases or other lists, products or services provided through or obtained from the Wisc-Online website. This means, among other activities, that you agree not to engage in the practices of "screen scraping," "database scraping," or any other activity with the purpose of obtaining lists of users or other information. You agree that you will not use the Wisc-Online website in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Wisc-Online website or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Wisc-Online website. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Wisc-Online website.

If and when requested by Wisc-Online, you agree to provide true, accurate, and complete user information and to refrain from impersonating or falsely representing your affiliation with any person or entity. Except with the written permission of Wisc-Online, you agree that you will not access or attempt to access password-protected, secure, or non-public areas of the Wisc-Online website. Unauthorized individuals attempting to access prohibited areas of the Wisc-Online website may be subject to prosecution.

You agree that you will not juxtapose the Wisc-Online name and mark and the link with your name or any other material(s) in a manner which might give rise to any erroneous conclusion that there is any affiliation or association between Wisc-Online, on the one hand, and you or any other person or entity, on the other hand. You agree that if Wisc-Online, in its sole and unfettered discretion, requests in writing that you remove any link or links to the Wisc-Online website, you will promptly do so. You agree that if you create any link to the Wisc-Online website that you will not employ any technology that results in the placement of content from the Wisc-Online website in a frame and/or a reduced pop-up window and/or any other display mechanism that changes the Wisc-Online website from how it would appear if a user typed in its URL to a typical browser line.

You agree that Wisc-Online may at its sole discretion and at any time terminate your access to and use of the Wisc-Online Digital Resource Library, or any part thereof, with or without notice.

No Warranty

There is no warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Except when otherwise stated in writing by the copyright holders and/or other parties, Wisc-Online offers the Wisc-Online website "as-is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk of use of the Wisc-Online website is with you. Should the Wisc-Online website prove faulty, inaccurate, or otherwise unacceptable, you assume the cost of all necessary repair or correction.

Wisc-Online includes some health- or medical-related materials that may be considered sexually explicit, violent, graphic, or otherwise unsuitable for younger audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.

This site is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis.  Wisc-Online makes no representations or warranties of any kind, implied or expressed, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, or materials included on this site or made available through this site.  You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk.

To the full extent permissible by applicable law, Wisc-Online disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, against infringement by Wisc-Online information, content, or materials of any copyrights, third party patents, trademarks, or any other rights.  Wisc-Online does not warrant that this site, its servers, or communications sent from Wisc-Online are free of viruses or other harmful components. Wisc-Online will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages.  The entire risk of non-performance of Wisc-Online information, content, or materials rests with the user, who shall be responsible for all costs of any service, repair, or correction. In no event shall Wisc-Online or its members be liable to users for damages of any nature, including, without limitation, any general, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, arising out of any use of hosted information content or materials.

Purchasing Wisc-Online Products
Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing the Service. By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Service.
If you wish to make purchases of Wisc-Online products and services, you will be asked to supply certain information, including credit card or other payment mechanism information. You agree that all information you provide for purposes of making purchases will be accurate, complete, and current. Wisc-Online offers downloads, source codes, translations, training, and services.  We set our own prices and may change prices or institute new prices at any time. You agree to pay all charges incurred by users of your account and credit card or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred. You also will be responsible for paying any applicable taxes and shipping/handling relating to purchases on the Service.

Downloads
You may purchase downloads of the learning objects.  No changes to the downloaded learning object are allowed. You are bound to the uses as found under General Use and Limitations of General Use of the Wisc-Online Website

Failure to Comply With Terms and Conditions
Wisc-Online may deny you access to all or part of the Service without notice if you engage in any conduct or activities that Wisc-Online in its sole discretion believes violate any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement. If Wisc-Online denies you access to the Service because of such a violation, you shall have no right (1) to access through Wisc-Online any materials stored on the Internet, (2) to obtain any credit(s) otherwise due to you, and such credit(s) will be forfeited, (3) to access third party services, merchandise, or information on the Internet through Wisc-Online, and Wisc-Online shall have no responsibility to notify any third-party providers of services, merchandise or information, nor any responsibility for any consequences resulting from lack of notification.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Wisc-Online and its member organizations harmless from any and all liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, related to any violation of this Agreement by you or authorized users of your account, or in connection with the use of the Service or the Internet or the placement or transmission of any message, information, software, or other materials on the Internet by you or authorized users of your account.

Miscellaneous
In the event that any portion of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be construed in accordance with applicable law as nearly as possible to reflect the original intentions of the parties, and the remainder of the provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Wisc-Online’S failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any provision of this Agreement.
Wisc-Online may modify this Agreement from time to time by placing a notice of such modification on Wisc-Online, and your continued use of the Service following notice of such modification shall be deemed to be your acceptance of any such modification. If you do not agree to any modification of this Agreement, you must stop using the Service.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Wisc-Online with respect to the Service.
