Wisc-Online FAQ

Wisc-Online is a digital library of learning objects created by technical college faculty and multimedia developers. Fox Valley Technical College oversees the operation of Wisc-Online with guidance from the Wisc-Online Advisory Council.

Anyone may view and even download our learning objects at no cost.

Wisc-Online by Fox Valley Technical College is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.

Our free learning objects are available for use at no cost to anyone, anywhere at any time via the internet and mobile applications.

Each learning object has its own unique URL address. You may copy this address and use it anywhere you wish. Many of our learning objects can be downloaded as SCORM packages.

As a member of Wisc-Online, you will have your own Wisc-Online page, called My Wisc-Online, on which to group and display your favorite learning objects. You can also ask questions, discuss and vote on learning objects.

You may decide what content you would like to be displayed on the public version of your My Wisc-Online page by clicking the Edit Profile link directly under your name. When you are on the Account Information page, you may edit your profile information.

All content (images, video, and audio) is free for reuse under Creative Commons.

You can browse by category or conduct a search for specific content. Content is filtered by category and subcategory or by type: audio, video, or image.

You need to log in to Wisc-Online to discuss or vote on content.
