Learners complete a crossword puzzle with terms that relate to common diseases and disorders of the cardiovascular system. Immediate feedback is provided. Learners have the option to send an e-mail to their instructors notifying them that the learning object has been completed.
In this interactive learning object, students answer multiple choice questions about medications, nursing implications, and client outcomes of gastrointestinal management. A correct answer gives the learner a square on a Tic-Tac-Toe board. The student may play against the computer or with one other person.
Learners read about audiological tests including pure tone testing, air conduction, bone conduction, Speech Reception Threshold, and Speech Discrimination Score. They listen to sounds and words recorded at different decibel levels and see a graphic representation of decibel ranges. A brief review concludes the activity.
