Why are there 3 branches of goverment
well, f there were only two branches power would be even, then one branch COULD over power the other. 3 is odd. Odd is good. good is right. right is o.k.
The two bottom corners are the Judicial Branch and the Legislative Branch, also called Congress. Each part of the government is connected to the other. Each has its own responsibilities and powers. A system of checks and balances prevents one branch from gaining too much power. therefore each branch has its own part to do something and has its own responsibilities.
