Push vs. Pull Activity

The goal in a lean environment is to produce to customer demand, or create “pull.” This can take on many different forms. "Pull" is driven by customer need. "Push" is driven by company processes and usually has elements of waste. Learners identify whether the activity is an example of "Push" or "Pull."
