Three-Phase Delta Transformer Calculations

Using a memory shortcut for calculations, the learner determines line and phase values of current in a three-phase AC configuration. Practice problems complete the activity.

Jim, most of the time in industry, the phase currents are not balanced. Can you do a LO with an unbalanced load distribution? Otherwise the LO turned out nice and should answer many questions.

in a step down transformer to say the current is less in the primary doesn't help. what is a factor in calculation is phase angle and impedance in the secondary as these help to determine the volt amps of the entire circuit
