Failure Mode and Effect Analysis

Six Sigma practitioners follow the steps of FMEA to indentify, analyze, prioritize, and document potential failure modes, their effects on performance, and possible causes. Use of this tool will enable Six Sigma project teams to eliminate the causes of failures and prevent those failures from recurring.
