In this highly animated and colorful object, learners examine the steps of carbohydrate digestion. A brief quiz completes the activity.
Learners click on the root word of a medical term in the left-hand column and drag it to its definition in the right-hand column. There is a time limit, so students will need to train themselves to recognize these root words quickly. Students may repeat the activity as often as they wish. A total of 74 terms are given in random order.

I could not follow the professor as he explained chem. digestion very quickly one evening. This was exactly what he said only at a pace I could follow (my own pace!). Loved the quick quiz at the end too! Terrific. Now, Im looking for protein breakdown so back to your original site. You just saved this novice nursing student!
