Why does a hand need an oven mitt in order to pick up the pot from the stove
to not get burned
Because conduction is being transferred to your hand if you don't wear the mitt so then you would get burned....
The heat from the pot will soak into your hand because it has higher heat than your hand so you need the oven mitt.
So you wont get your hand badly hurting
Because if you don't have any protection from direct heat, the conduction will burn you.
