Biomolecules - The Proteins
In this animated object, learners read an introduction to protein structure and function.
Biomolecules - The Proteins does not work. It disappears.
what are proteins constructed from?
Proteins are constructed from chains of amino acids.Posted by Gayla Ross on 1/27/2015 12:29:21 PM Votes 0.00
Proteins are made up of smaller building blocks called amino acids, joined together in chains. There are 20 different amino acids. Some proteins are just a few amino acids long, while others are made up of several thousands. These chains of amino acids fold up in complex ways, giving each protein a unique 3D shape.Posted by Mackenzie Rojas on 10/24/2017 3:45:49 PM Votes 0.00
what do protein do?
They do most of the work in cells and are required for the structure, function, and regulation of the body's tissues and organs. Proteins are made up of hundreds or thousands of smaller units called amino acids, which are attached to one another in long chains.Posted by Marlowe Henderson on 9/6/2016 1:59:45 PM Votes 0.00
What is rna
ribonucleic acid, a nucleic acid present in all living cells. Its principal role is to act as a messenger carrying instructions from DNA for controlling the synthesis of proteins, although in some viruses RNA rather than DNA carries the genetic information.Posted by Marlowe Henderson on 9/6/2016 1:58:15 PM Votes 0.00
